Check In

inventory clerk Thornton HeathFCIS can arrange to meet your Tenant at the rental property. We can do this on or before the start of their Tenancy. The FCIS clerk will go through the Inventory Report with them and obtain their signature.

We will complete a schedule of condition and cleanliness of the property also, where possible, take the meter readings and agree them with your Tenant. Our Inventory clerk will agree and make any additional comments to the inventory together with the tenant where necessary. We can also list and hand over the property’s keys should you require us to do so. The tenant then signs the Check-In declaration.

Where the inventory used for the Check-In has not been produced by FCIS, we will create an addendum (additional sheet) to the original inventory with supplemental comments. This addendum will also include the signed Check-In declaration.
